I leave today for Camoapa, Boaco for a week volunteer site visit!
I will be staying with a current small business volunteer from today (Sunday) to Thursday to see what the life of a volunteer is like.
I am excited to see another part of the city.
According to Wikipedia,
The economy is based mainly on agriculture and the cattle
industry (cattle raising, trading and dairy). Camopa is the largest
cattle producing region in Nicaragua. Other local industry is leather
handcrafting and the making of (sombreros de pita) hand weave hats.
