Masaya, the guitars and the bus depot

We went to Masaya one day after classes during the day. Masaya is the capital city in the state of the Managua, which is where I live. It is the third largest city in Nicaragua and is known for it's two markets.

While we were there, two of my site mates bought guitar for about $150 each at Guitarras Pilarte

Then we walked to the “bus station”, which was just a field of yellow school buses. As one volunteer told us, Nicaragua is where American yellow school buses go to die. Here are two pictures of the buses.
