In addition to the large yellow school
buses, there are small microbuses.
They are a little bigger than a 15 passenger van and they come in all different
configurations. The other day on the way back from Managua the 15 of us, 3
Nicaraguans, the ayudante, and the
driver piled in one. Instead of the C$20 price of the yellow bus, the microbus costs C$30. It definitely is a
quicker ride and usually you get a seat.
